You are probably a seagull. Seagulls enter battlefields in unfit frigates to scoop LP without making any contribution. In a crowded battlefield, this reduces LP payout for the players that ran the battlefield.
How can I help run a battlefield?
Bring damage, tackle, ewar, or logistics
Damage: To setup a control zone, kill all the red rats until a red battlecruiser spawns. Leave one red battlecruiser and kill any remaining red rats. Last, kill all but one blue rat. Do this for all three control zones.
Once the control zones are setup, position yourself to support tackle at the caldari or neutral rally points. A button runner, often a Punisher, will take position in the control zone to run the timer. Only one button runner is needed.
Tackle: Sit on the caldari or neutral rally point, and tackle enemies entering the battlefield
Logistics: Offer repairs for button runners if requested, otherwise be ready to repair tackle at the caldari or neutral rally point
Ewar: Provide support for any engagements happening at the caldari or neutral rally points.
