My father was Minmater. I remember him rattling off story after story of his homeland, and his seemingly misplaced love for the Caldari Navy. My mother recently convinced me that my father was perhaps a Caldari officer at one point, This is easier to accept than the other possibility.

My father had no love for the Amarr. I personally think he only married mother to avoid certain other unpleasantaries. None the less, having been regaled with bedtime stories of Caldari honor, bravery and glory, that little seed, planted in the fertile soil of an imaginative little boy slowly took root.

And some day it will bear fruit.
